Annual Young Breast Cancer Survivors Workshop
Join us day of support, education and networking for young breast cancer survivors and their loved ones in the greater Birmingham area. At the workshop, you will find a safe place where:
- young women facing cancer share their experiences, learn new survivorship tips, and find a network for support.
- men openly discuss their concerns guided by a professional counselor.

YBCS Lunch & Learn Support Group: come and join a group of young women who choose to face breast cancer together. This group is an energized network of single women, young mothers, and middle age survivors who gather for a time of learning and support. Lunch is provided, so please RSVP if you are coming.
When: 3rd Tuesday of each month, from 11:30am – 12:30pm

Join us for a Living with Cancer talk with Sarah Mansfield, Cancer Exercise Specialist, on the benefits of exercise during and after your cancer treatment.

With the help of local artist, Christoffer Frank and art therapist, Amy Brown, cancer patients and survivors have created a powerful, living work of art that will have a permanent home in the new Patient and Family Resource Center of the Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Bosom Buddies Breast Cancer Support Group
A monthly support group for women who have experienced breast cancer with the opportunity to meet other women at different stages of recovery and survivorship. BRCA Support Group (Breast / Ovarian Cancers)
To provide education and support to individuals with BRCA1 and BRCA2 gene mutations and their families. Understanding the implications of being a carrier and exploring the options for preventative treatment is a journey you don’t have to make alone. Join us!
